This is a tattoo commission from

It's nice to see another tattoo image that isn't a stale old cliche. I'm still too tiered from AC to write too much about this but it's nice. You seem to be able to find some really good artists that are also under-priced. I haven't checked out this one yet but I will.
I was hoping both stoicism and melancholy would be apparent to people other than me, looking at this.
As far as significance - a combination of expressing a feeling of being trapped...a dragon that should be flying free, is instead, drowning - and combined with the quote, to show that it is...a chosen entrapment, of a kind? The song the quote is from is about a captain going down with his ship as it sinks - knowing that he's going to die, and accepting his responsibility as captain to go down with his ship.
