A Submission to an Artist Avatar Challenge on Deviant Art

As a wee lad I always dreamed of going to another world. Whether it was fantasy, virtual, or Jumanji, I desperately wanted to escape my reality. Today, I travel through many worlds through my art with my 'sona, Sorbet, at the helm.

My Avatar travels the virtual space of the internet, utilizing his repertoire of virtual weapons, inspired by artists before me. Collecting inspirations and knowledge, Sorbet is not only a representation of me as an artist in the social media scape, he is also a beacon of the man I wish to be. He is kind, courageous, strong, honest, caring, creative, and above all, hopeful. His bright and optimistic appearance helps me become more involved with my art and fellow artists.

Inspired by Ready Player One, I wanted to give this piece a retro vaporwave vibe. How do you think I did?
