Well actually its roughly inspired by the film 'One Stormy Night'. There has been a good deal of folks claiming their relationship was more than just based on friendship..and with this sketch I wanted them to look rather intimiate but only to illustrate how somethings can be misread by outside eyes. Well anyway that was my intent, as art tends to be..to each his own interpretation.

I think it's annoying how everyone automatically assumes that two male characters are gay just because they have a close friendship. Why can't males have close friendships like girls have them? Why do they automatically have to be sexually attracted to each other just because they are concerned for the each others' well being?

I think you actually GOT the meaning..thats what I wanted..I wanted them to look intimitate to reflect how that can be misread as being romantic when it doesnt have to be..they can just be innocent best friends...there isnt sexuality there. I wanted the meaning to be misleading to the viewer because it didnt matter what the viewer thinks, it only matters what the couple in the picture knows to be the truth.
