I did some reading on Harajuku fashion styles for fun and was interested in trying to draw some coords within different styles. Kioku normally wears more traditional things but thought it'd be a neat change/intersesting experiment and could be fun to design. I started out with the Sweet Lolita style. This was my first attempt and asking people who knew the fashion better, it didn't go over very well. I like the theme though and there are aspects of it I like a lot. I think some things didn't communicate well contributing to the problem. My lack of control over artistic proportions definitely doesn't help in a style where that's really important.
