I made this sling for my axe today while I was out in the woods. I was able to work on it most of the way and then finished some bits when I got home.
It was horribly cold out today and the snow has been coming down for the past 9 days and today it finally stopped.
The snow was up to my knees and sometimes a little past that when I was out there. I only really managed to build a fire at the pit I made and make some tea.

I think this will hold up pretty well.
