Snow has been arriving in Michigan pretty steadily now and so we apologize for the weird lighting in these past couple of videos. Nevertheless, the snow is no match for these jingly scales and spikes!
Scales are anodized aluminum from TheRingLord. The resin claws and rubber spikes are from DreamVisionCreations. Everything is hand knit by us. These weigh ~2lbs/arm and the entire project took ~24hrs to make!

Our method of knitting the scales allows them to move around and be jingly (see the linked video for reference). With this method, the scales follow gravity, so if we knit them going the other way, they would just fall out to the side and constantly be upside down.
Early on in our business ventures, we had allowed a few to commission gauntlets with them facing up to the shoulder, warning about the scales flipping. All said they didn't mind, and then a few months after they had their commission, they came back and complained about it. So we do not offer it anymore.
Also, reference to reptile legs show scales/skin folds actually go down to the toes.
And for those who enjoy the claws, our secret method of adding them only allows for scales facing down.
