''The Power of Plushies''
I would like to introduce you to two of my favorite plushies, being Tommy the giraffe and Quacker the yellow duck. Tommy I got when I was VERY little, I guess I own it since I was a mere three or four years old or even younger -- the history of Quacker, though, is more set in stone. It was a gift plushie I received from a very kind bus driver named Ellie, who I really liked, travelling to school with, and having fun all the way to the school. And still having them together TO THIS VERY DAY, has created a very strong bond between me and them. They're inseparable by now. From each other, but especially from me. I even vaguely remember sleeping in a tent while it was stormy outside (which I was really scared of, since I feared for the tent to be struck by a bolt of lightning, which is particularly dangerous), but the thought of being with both my younger brother AND with my trusty plushies, made me feel all the more comfortable.
I'm still very attached to Tommy and Quacker, I don't... ''need'' them as much now as I occasionally did back then; but the thought of still owning these two... It's just wonderful that they managed to stay with me for this long.
