I agree to an extent..
If people are more into drawing/painting scenery over characters, they likely have a much easier time ^^;

Oh, definitely. For me, however, doing shading is a PAIN. It was a major part of doing work in ART 101 at my college and I spent HOURS having to smudge lead all over paper.

The characters really didn't take long at all; mostly just the setting.
Except for the human... it took me around seven attempts before I could get his face to not look like mine.

Idk why, but that always happens when I draw human guys. Xp

i don't think anthros are same as humans xD there's allot more details that can't be covered with fluff or scales or whatever!
