The sketch I did for Getting Fursonal way back was so much fun that I asked
tefloncougar if I could do a colored version. Whoo for purple and green! The background was referenced from the Rocky Mountains where I often go to snowboard =3

Love the colours in this picture! You also do such great backgrounds that add so much depth to the picture! I like her purple scarf and goggles, they look so cute on her! Her board also has great designs on it and really stands out! I also just noticed her cute little heart-shaped paw pads! She might be a hazard for other furries boarding down the slopes, because they'll all wipeout at first sight of her! XD
Did you do this with colored pencils? It's pretty much amazing! It's not often I see such beautiful color and perfect shading and details done with traditional tools! I must know how you did details like the stripes on her scarf without the color bleeding over the edges. It's so perfect that it looks almost like the transitions between colors were done in Photoshop!
Got any tips on how to achieve such a feat? I always end up either crossing over or leaving an obvious dark outline between two colors when there's no line separating them..

Ooh, very nice. :D I would have never thought of that.
I'm pretty bad with markers.. though the most professional art markers I've ever used were Crayola washables. *^* I always had that problem of the old and new lines crossing over each other and making a darker mark in the middle. Got me every time. :P
