Greece 2019 - ''Valley of the Fox Spirits''
Back in 2019, I went to Greece with my dad. I got to choose which country I really wanted to visit, and ultimately, I chose Greece, since it has so much rich history and interesting buildings and ruins. And was it worth it! We visited way more places than I could imagine, such as a monastery built inside a rockface; a rusty motorcycling bridge; quiet cemeteries (which were all over the place, BTW) and many small towns. There was even a wide pebble beach with thatched umbrellas! And who could forget the one building Greece is most known for -- I'm of course talking about the Parthenon on top of the mountain Akropolis!
OK, so this here picture is one of the overall darker ones in my Greece collection (Trust me, it won't be the last one!). Being an animal lover and enthusiast, I was very shocked upon discovering that, during our car trip through the grassy hills of Elos, there were SEVERAL BODIES OF HARMLESS FOXES on one side of the road! ...all of which were roughly a couple kilometres apart from each other, but still! I noticed some strange, white... liquid? ...lying close to one of the bodies. I cannot say for sure whether the foxes were run over, choked in the liquid or poisoned by it -- or, in the worst case, both -- however it undoubtedly IS very sad for every one of them either way. Please pay your respect and Fave this picture for them.
- Also, I don't know if it was just me, but -- when we arrived at our next stay (which I suppose was in an ancient mountain village somewhere in Monemvasia), when we went to bed... I thought I saw something sitting across my bed, something almost invisible that was in the shape of a small fox... Could this be the ghost of one of the foxes that we saw at the Elos hill highway...?

Yeah, I saw several lying on the edge of the road. It was truly a sad sight. But I have to say, it was one of the staple discoveries I had made. Other ones include going to the Greece landmark that is the Akropolis; visiting an old church near a plantlife-inhabited cliff; exploring the many ruins of the famous city of Olympia; walking through museums filled with ancient Greek temple leftovers, archaeologist discoveries, miniature replicas of Greek palaces and expensive cultural statues; stumbling upon a rusty, abandoned playground at dawn with literally no visibility whatsoever; and climbing a rocky, very steep slope featuring a stone path leading up to an actual monastery that was built INSIDE OF A MOUNTAIN! I had SUCH a great time back in Greece! [ ]
I already uploaded a photo of the church area, otherwise known as the ''Cross of Light'' chapter of me and my father's journey!
