I am glad it is over yet very very happy with the results, My best friend who commissioned this for sure pushed me to my limits and had more faith in me than I had in myself. this piece turned out AMAZING colby! the shading is beautiful, and i specifically like the lighting on the books under the lamp! honestly, you have so many different shapes in this scene with all the differently styled furniture, but it all blends so well together! it's hard for me to comment on just one thing that i like, because my eyes are drawn so many places hahaha, it's just a well put together background! (': i love everything about it man
Words cannot overstate how much I love this, even coming back and looking at it again! The praise I give in calls, it still pales utterly to the demonstration here of your sheer capabilities with lighting, shading, and just general understanding of space in a scene! This is composed absolutely perfectly!! Colby, you rock!
AHHH THE WORD PERFECT AGAIN!!!! I wish I was seeing how you guys are seeing it! It is really hard to look at your own art from an objective point of view when you are really hard on yourself and a perfectionist. But all that matters is that you are happy with it and I an honored to have been good enough for you to commission me!
lol oh man, I know that feeling all too well, but seriously! You did a great job, and there is nothing to be self conscious about! You did Jorge an incredibly faithful service in your rendition of him that makes me, as his creator, very happy! And your talents make me proud of you, as a friend, seeing just what kind of power those little Hedgey art hands are packing!! Don't let insecurities or anxieties diminish what you've achieved here!
