A few compact discs from the late 1980s I recently bought off eBay. KPM's "Archive Series" CDs containing vintage stock music cues from the 40s to the 70s, including a LOT of familiar stuff heard on "The Ren & Stimpy Show," and some of them also later appearing on shows like "Bill Nye the Science Guy," "KaBlam!," "SpongeBob SquarePants" and others, all of which were influenced by "Ren & Stimpy"'s use of the music (especially so with "SpongeBob," since 3/4 of its' background music is stock tracks from the APM library, KPM's parent company!) I already had much of those music tracks as MP3s I downloaded, many of which I've even loaded onto my iPhone to listen to when on the go, and have used them in my own productions (especially the "Ren & Stimpy" animations I've made on Microsoft's 3D Movie Maker) but I thought it'd be neat to have them on physical media as well. I've also often pictured "Calvin and Hobbes" and the "Berenstain Bears" stories using these music cues as well (they would definitely fit with the domestic feel of the latter!)
