Christmas Gifts 2020 - My DnD Group
Here is a gift for all of my wonderful friends in the DnD group I've been running. They've all been really fantastic players, and it's been an absolute delight to run this game - all of their characters are simply wonderful! And even though they may've put on a bit of extra weight since the beginning of their adventures, they're still up for any challenge or quest! So long as you're offering plenty of food, haha! In all seriousness though, it's been a real blast doing this campaign, and I'm really happy with how this group shot turned out. Thanks to all the players for joining in and making my first campaign as a GM a really exciting and memorable adventure!

I have had a wonderful time with this band of misfits in misfitting clothing, and you have gone above and beyond in your GMing, creating an extraordinarily detailed world to explore and so many mechanics to take us beyond the many, many limitations of 5e. I really appreciate the thought you put into helping our characters along with our individual arcs and backstories. It was a lot of fun working out who Kahvie was going to be, and where he was going to go. It's always fun to see how the character concept survives contact with actual gameplay. Kahvie was supposed to be a mellow hippie dishing out quasi-Buddhist musings and 'can't we all get along's. However, in between collapsing a fae pocket dimension, turning off reality to make a point, and nearly starting the Kobold Revolution to the tune of Do You Hear the People Sing?, I think he earned his reputation for absolute chaos, and making Ariamis' blood pressure jump every time he opened his mouth. I can't thank you all enough for accommodating my mischief, and I hope very much that one day soon we'll regroup for another adventure!
Awwwww, thank you so very much man - all of that is so very touching and wonderful to hear!! And oh my goodness, having all of Kahvie’s mischief laid out like this is very helpful haha! Truth be told, one or two moments escaped me at first - but when you put them this way, they’re sure to be unforgettable. Thank you so much for being such a standout player man, and I really hope we can continue things again <3
