At the very, very end of my graduate school career, the world took my mother away. This morning around 7:30 she passed away, due to complications with her heart thought to be caused by sepsis. Even with my physiology degree, I didn't know. None of us knew. How could we? We know it's not our fault. But it hurts nonetheless. We never even got to say good bye

I thought I was going to return, but now I have to extend my leave indefinitely more. I don't know when I will be myself again, but I will be fine in the end
