A cute drunken love confession.. I didn't have a species in mind for the grey/white/teal character, but she ended up looking a lot like a greenish version of my snowserval avatar. That was unintentional, but I think its kinda neat. The other girl is a leopard..
Done with micron pen, copic markers and acrylic paints on 8"x10" bristol board.

Of course, in this case, it wouldn't apply - entirely different situation from the look of things.
I'll admit I was perhaps a bit too generalized and looking at this situation with a hint of paranoia. My understanding of the crime is that "there was no consent involved."
What you do with it after she's sober is fine too, as long as she's still willing to admit it's true.
Today is may simply be "He winked at me so I had to beat him up." No wait, two Marines already used this excuse yesterday. Oh well.
In any case, one can only hope that there will be no problem.
I absolutely love the expressions they're both wearing, and how well you managed to capture the moment of revelation. It's nice, too, that while the leopard looks shocked, there's no real hint of any further reaction. It kind of lets you imagine that she might do just about anything. It lets you hope, as the snowleopard does, that she might say yes.
I know you have a lot of characters already, but I really hope that we'll get to see these two at least once more. The snowleopard is really gorgeous, and she has a really cute face. And, well, there's just something so very charming about new-found love, too.
Very well-drawn, Kacey. Black glossy hair is quite difficult, as is that black top... textures are subtle but definite. I also admire the sense of dimension you give the teal feline's tail.
I really do like this and I think it's really cute too!

I always love those little touches you add in like the little heart shaped "drunk bubbles" and one of those even pops.
I've had my own share of drunk embarrassments, you'd think I would have learned my lesson after the first or even second time... These days though I take care not to get that drunk, besides with medication I can't always have alcohol but I still enjoy a good drink now and then like Baileys or Irish coffee.
That being said though I think this is absolutely fantastic. Every detail from the big and the small in this piece are just superb. The blushing effects, the way the snow leopard’s top is slightly falling off the clothing, the poses, the hair, even the little drunken hiccup bubbles that look like hearts. All of this makes for art that I can’t help but fave :D

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Excellent work, you found the perfect expression of an age old problem. 'Do I truly love her as well, or is there a way that we may remain friends. For I would not want to loose her, and I know she would have kept these feelings hidden from me forever. Yet would I be capable of returning such love? Is this what i want as well? And she is so strong, living in pain, so as not to hurt me. Only to fail because she drank so much with me. What path do I take, because she is my dearest, most trusted friend and to hurt her would be an evil thing.'
Truthfully, this picture deserves a story be written based upon it. I do hope that one day you find a writer capable of such a heartwarming project.

I was thinking, with this one, that the leopard girl had feelings for the snowleopard but was afraid of sharing for fear of losing her best friend - only to be surprised by her friend revealing those same feelings for her - so her look is more of shock and surprise than uncertainty... but the image could be interpreted so many different ways, and I think the lack of knowing what comes next is something that makes it interesting, or at least it did to me, creating it.
