“Whisper, are you done yet? We've been out all day; I'm too cold and old for this.”
An exasperated doberman tried to keep up with wolfcat as she dragged him around town. Even with his thick jacket on, his short fur bristled out to try and keep him warm. He hated the cold so very much. The only reason he was out right now was because of her; there was no other reason or person that would have him out in this weather...

Whisper needed to do some last minute Christmas shopping, mostly for herself, and brought Grimm along to keep her company-

Tired of him whining about how cold he was, Whisper headed to the nearby cafe and grabbed a cup of hot chocolate and a giant chocolate chip cookie for him- she figured he deserved something for putting up with her.
Patiently waiting outside by the window, he wagged his stub as she returned with his treats. Before he could take a sip of his drink, she tugged on his scarf and led him back through the streets-

"But Whisper, what happened to us spending some time together?!" Grimm grumbled as he tried to sip on his hot chocolate while jogging alongside her.
"I thought we could maybe watch a movie together, go out and eat somewhere nice, or sit by a fireplace...you know, where it's warm?" He already knew he was talking to a brick wall, but he figured it was worth a try.

Whisper glanced back and up at him, grabbing the reminder of a cookie from his hand, "You're here with me, we are spending time together!"
With a cheeky grin on her face, Whisper stuck a pair of plastic reindeer antlers on his head, happily clapped her hands, and guided him to next store she needed to go to.

As she spoke to no one in particular, he could have sworn he heard her say something about the two of them going ice skating later... "Great, I'm going to bust my butt and freeze," he thought to himself.

Let's be honest, the only reason Grimm is there is to hold Whisper's shopping bags while she eats and shops; that's why she brought him with her, LOL. Bless him.

First off, I want to wish a Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to TolerableDog!

Whisper really does enjoy spending time with Grimm. Their versions of "hanging out" together vary: he rather be at home cuddled by the fireplace. Whereas Whisper would have them skiing or out running in the snow as hanging out.

...no, I don't know why he puts up with her, lol. Feel free to ask him that.
