OK, I think I see what you're doing wrong there, Hoppy. Also, I finally got around to some famous furry superheroes. In Funny Animals #1, the weak and put-upon Hoppy gains all the powers of Captain Marvel by the expedient of trying out saying ``Shazam'' and what do you know, it worked. Content Warning about that story: it all starts out nice and goofy, and then gets grim when Axis agents Hermann, Zero, and Muss invade. Not that beating up Ratzis is ever unwelcome, but it's a heck of a tone shift to go from a pink weakling sorry he can't stand up for himself to the whole population being enslaved to make food for an invading army. The depictions get a bit racist in that wartime-cartoons way too.

As for my own artwork, here's another really basic ten-minute color job and it came out okay. I like the light reflections on the dumbbells, even if they make no sense.
