Tarantula? Good guess. I should have the next panel up in a day or two, and all shall be revealed. Suffice it to say that Jake is somewhat of a spaz, and overreacts to a lot of things.

Did you do the week-long summer camps with the scouts? I did them for a number of years, and I will always remember the crazy stuff that happened while I was out there.

Yeah, did it about 5 times, scout camp holds many memories for me in my awkward days of being a young teen.

Well, it's pretty long (about 2.5 feet currently), and it has about as much flexibility as a feline tail.

I guess flexible wasn't quite the right word, how about dexterous?
For example, cats can move their tails quite a bit.

Though I suppose seeing as to how heavy the interloper on his tail was, he'd have some difficulty lifting it up to see what was on it... =^.^=
