Its alright. I knew he was getting close but when it started to really show that he would not make it, it still came as a surprise. I tried to make the most of the time I had left with him and I know he was happy. It's never going to be easy to say goodbye but I encourage you to make the most of the time you still have with them. I still hope your little friend can be around for a long while.

Yeah, it is not something you can anticipate or be 100% prepared.
