Hey, remember Hanna-Barbera's first TV stars, Ruff and Reddy? Don't fib. But, you know, Ruff and Reddy were there, kind of the bridge between Jay Ward's Crusader Rabbit and the endless number of 1960s Hanna-Barbera little-guy/big-guy pairs. Dell did a comic book based on Ruff and Reddy. This picture is part of the cover of issue #5, https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=39271 if you want to see the original. This is only a slice of that, though. Only part of the book cover fit on my screen without zooming out, and I liked this composition better.
I know I seem to say this about all the mid-century limited-animation characters but, wow. These are some fun body plans to draw. That they're quick draws is also a nice feature.

Likewise honestly. I've seen maybe two episodes or so, from when Cartoon Network did some actual historical retrospectives on important or influential cartoons. I remember liking what I saw. They did adventuring-pair stories. Not so complex as Crusader Rabbit or Rocky and Bullwinkle with fully serialized stories, but more involved than, like, Huckleberry Hound could possibly have done.
