The night was young and loud, the hustle and bustle of the streets consuming the small black rabbit. She loved it. The throb of people in the large crowd guided her to a window. She looked inside, seeing a large mass of bodies, dancing together in close quarters and sipping drinks they probably didn't know the name of. In amongst the sea of fur and flesh was him. A lone wolf standing against a wall, cigarette in his mouth, not seeking to care. His fur was a deep brown, his fluffy hair disheveled. In that moment, her heart leaped and hammered against her ribcage, her eyes glued to the man in the window. A shove came from behind, breaking her gaze. She returned to looking at the wolf but he was gone.
