*laughs* I imagine that if you stop running a marathon in the final steps, people will still respect you as you proved you could do it, without having to actually cross the finish line.
If you stop a comic project such as GT&tt just before the finale, you would be shunned and ridiculed and hunted down and thrown into a swamp. And that would just be from your friends.
