Have been a HUGE fan of Sally Face the last few years, and also rekindled my love for pokemon in that time. Pokemon is a fandom always kinda lowkey lurking in my brain; been a fan since I was like seven, and always will be, you know how it is.

ANYWAY. I figured I'd mix the two of them together! Why not?

The region I think this would take place in is Unova. Sal's starter is a snivy; he goes on to collect a yamask, a cubone, and a meowstic.

The meowstic is supposed to be Gizmo; in game, Gizmo is clearly very intelligent, watching TV and taking baths on his own. My first instinct was to turn Gizmo into a purugly, but then I figured that a cat so smart might be psychic. So meowstic he was! He was the first to evolve, naturally.

The cubone has a sad story to him; he was a product of overbreeding. He didn't have the nature the breeder wanted, and rather than send him back into the ever revolving wondertrade system, they sent him back into the wild. As a level 1 baby. The poor lil guy didn't do so good, naturally. So when Sal came across him, he only had to toss a ball at him, and the poor little creature imprinted on him right away. He's basically Sal's baby.

The yamask is also a sad story. It is said that ghost pokemon come to be because of the spirits of unsatisfied, vengeful people who've died. Sal's yamask is such one; she's the ghost of his mother, who was brutally murdered in an attempt to save her boy. Neither of them knows this, at first; she sees him, then proceeds to follow him around. He's like 'Hey there, lil fella; you lost? You lonely? Wanna come with me?"

This was going to be a series; I was planning to do Larry, Todd, Ash, Chug, Maple, and Thomas. But I never got around to it. Maybe I will in the future, but don't count on it. :B
