Sunday, inside the Toronto Congress Center: me, posing with a ferret in the Polaris booth -- I'm holding her firmly but gently, not strangling her at all, I promise! But I did try afterwards to get her into a more comfortable position. (This is approximately how others were holding her.) She was a cute lil' girl, very friendly too.
BTW, I'm really not happy with my camera. I wasn't even holding it this time and I still needed to wash the bejeepers out of it through The GIMP to get it to look even reasonably good. shakes head
UPDATE -- Since AN2010 I've finally gotten my glasses fixed and no longer need to wear those prescription shades.

I've been away from LJ for a while, busy with AN2010 and some local drama. So missed the news. Anyway, cool that you have company. Where the heck did you get a nine foot dish??? Man, you could receive signals from just about any bird with that! Got a receiver and de-scrambler to go with it?
Sadly I've only been to three furry cons in my life; one in Montreal, one in Novi, Mivhigan and one local. I've been too poor to stay at far-away hotels for the last while. I'm hoping things will improve and I'll be able to visit FC, or at least AC. First I need a passport, though.
Hum well im gonna say this and not to beout of place ,but did any one notice the fact that if you take a quick glance you dont see the ferrets head right away and it kinda looks like in the smaller pic that hes grasping a mmmmmmhmmm *coughs*

I didn't take this picture. There was somebody at the Ad Astra/Polaris booth who was handing this little girl around and taking pictures with your own camera. I was actually trying to shift her into a position that I thought would be more comfortable for her when he took this. I had to process the result pretty violently to get something useful, I think I left the camera on macro or something. (I'm really not happy with that FE-4000, I wish I had my old Elph S1000 back.) That's probably why the poor ferret looks like a badly-made Thor.
She was a cute lil' ferret. I got to scritch behind her whiskers, I think she liked it. She had a ferret's smell, though, I'm not sure I could get used to that.

Please don't take this badly, as I mean no disresepect at all, but the thumbnail to this image makes it look as though you are holding a large flesh colored phallus, rather then a cute, cuddly ferret with a hoodie.
