Hmmmm, Iremember hearing this before for some reason on here, maybe it's just déjà vu or something.
The registration is quite perfect, very soft and "shimmery" and it grows slowly, becoming louder towards the end of the middle, just like the sun rising and then dying away, because after it's up the magic ends (of course the reason could have been purely aesthetic). So is this an improvisation or a composition based on an improvisation you did earlier, either way, a stunning work!

Well it was an improvisation that I really enjoyed listening to, so I basically notated, dropping off any strange notes, or adding things I think would enhance it. For the most part I am amazed how much better my improvisation playing is compared to my classical playing. My fingers can really fly in improvisations, but when I have the restrictions of classical, it is more difficult, which I guess is expected since I have no way to mess it up.
Yeah, improvising is rad, I can't really play more than two voices at one though :P It get's difficult over three (not that I don't try) harmonic pieces are fairly easy too, nice to throw the melody between voices, imitation is always difficult. They are quite freeing!
I know, with classical music is quite "just do this", much more difficult that just playing off your head!
