And here we have Sepia's travel partner and fellow party member, Tixtapa! This one was done by
fluffyz!
Name: Tixtapa Rikosu (Pronounced Ticks-ta-pah Rick-oh-soo)
Alias: Tix, Tixie (she hates this one), Tik-tak (she hates this one even more)
Story: Faded and Fated
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Species: Kitsune
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 102 lbs
Abilities/Skills/Strengths:
-Spells and hexes (See below)
-Very agile
-Wide knowledge of survival skills
Weaknesses:
-Barring some basic schooling from her parents, no formal education
-Fragile bones
-Easily dislocated joints
-Physically weak
Personality: Although she is distrustful and cynical of people when she first meets them, Tixtapa is very friendly, clingy, and protective towards those who gain her trust. But being raised in relative isolation, she has very poor manners, etiquette, and social awareness. She is cheerful and mischievous to a fault and has a child-like sense of adventure. Being raised in a swamp, Tixtapa is not afraid to get her hands (or most any other part of her) dirty.
Tixtapa is wildly immature for her age thanks to her lack of social graces. Despite this, she knows her faults and will listen to criticism (even if she doesn't necessarily follow said advice). She considers herself a free spirit, having only her deity to unconditionally obey. Although she doesn't truly enjoy arguing, Tixtapa will not hesitate to spout off her opinion (regardless of whether or not it directly concerns her or whether or not it could be hurtful). Tix can be determined to the point of being unreasonably stubborn, even if it puts herself or someone else at risk.
History: Tixtapa was born and raised in a remote swamp and learned the ways of survival and knowledge of nature from her parents at an early age. She grew up quickly and developed an itch for adventure in her early teens, despite the pleas and orders of her parents to stay at home. Around that time, she was visited by a persistent and mystical toad which she named Blaboab who taught her simple magic. Careful to keep her abilities and relationship with her toad companion a secret, Tixtapa held onto her knowledge until her parents found out at age 16. Not wanting someone who practices any other kind of magic than Kitsune magic in their home, she was kicked out and has since been spending her life looking for a new home and learning more about her powers.
Likes:

-Taking baths
Tixtapa's "Sorcery":
Although she is in denial that she's a witch, Tixtapa knows a variety of spells and "enchantments" (which are actually witch hexes). These include (but are not limited to):
-Potion creation: Much like Sepia, Tix can create magic potions of various sorts. However, her potions are made with mixes of herbs turned into foul-tasting medicines.
-Swamp Sprint: Using this hex, she is able to walk across and on top of terrains such as deep mud and quicksand without leaving any tracks.
-Realistic Likeness: Tixtapa can mimic the physical features of any human she has encountered, not just her default human form.
-Blaboab: Her toad familiar (see below) grants her the ability to endure slightly stronger wounds than a normal person and can be used to "store spells" for later use.
Other:
-She tends to avoid crowds. Not just due to her cynicism, but because she rarely bathes and almost never washes her outfit.
-Tixtapa is a lover of the arts, especially dancing. She enjoys it to the point that she will occasionally dance when she's bored.
-She will usually keep to herself and let others make the first move when she first meets someone new. So be wary if she confronts you when you first encounter each other; you may have said or done something to earn her ire.
-Whenever it rains, Tixtapa will start dancing and singing prayers to her goddess, Hergoz.
-When in the guise of a Human, she will wear boots, mostly to not attract undue attention.
-She is an herbalist by trade and has done marijuana on more than one occasion. She has also tried "magic mushrooms" on accident when her father tested her on her knowledge of nature.
-Although she is a witch, she is in denial over it and calls herself "some kind of sorceress."
-She carries a knife on her hip, but rarely uses it as a weapon. Rather, it's mostly used for harvesting herbs.
-Her worst nightmare is being on the receiving end of a witch hunt and being burned at a stake.
-If she gets high enough (I mean absolutely STONED), she'll actually start losing control of her shapeshfting abilities. That is, she'll have some parts of her that are foxlike, others that are human.
-When using magic, the color of the eyes of spellcasters in her universe (Tixtapa included) will change to reflect the nature of the magic being used. For example, Tix's witchcraft is purple, while a cleric's would be orange, a lich's is black, etc. Essentially, there's a different color for each magical "class."
-Tixtapa's speaks with a "Deep South" accent, and while she doesn't use the same mannerisms, she usually speaks in a very informal way.
-Her singing voice is very inconsistent and mostly dependent on her mood. When singing, it can range from something beautiful enough that it's akin to the Charm Person spell (in which some who hear it are made obedient to her), to bad enough that it mimics the spell Cacophonous Call (which makes whoever hears it become violently ill).

Her Familiar:
Name: Blaboab (Pronounced Blah-bow-ab)
Alias: Blobby, Blob
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Species: Toad
Size: Approximately six inches long, mouth to hindquarters
History: Blaboab is the name given to a toad who visited Tixtapa and helped her develop her magical abilities. He has not left her side since, and the two seem to share a sort of empathetic bond. Tixtapa keeps him in a leather bag over her shoulder.

And that is the partner to Sepia! I had a lot of fun creating her, and I owe a lot to Fluff for agreeing to draw her. Heart But here's some fast facts about her that don't even fit in "Other". |D
-She is the most "feral" of all of my anthro characters thus far. So much so that she sometimes does things such as scratching behind her ear with her foot, flattening her ears and baring her teeth when she's angry, and exhibiting animal characteristics even as a human (such as licking her hands and rubbing her face with them to clean it and complaining about phantom pains in her non-existent tail).
*However, she has trained herself to minimize this behavior when she's around new people.
-She is the only character I have so far to have paw pads on her hands.
-The name comes from the Mexican city of Ixtapa, and the Pokémon Raikou. I chose the former because I like the sound of it. Not sure why I chose the latter.
-I tend to consider her as a "Bizarro Marciannah." Same basic design, same start in poverty, same determination, etc. But while Marciannah gained her power through willpower, connections, and knowledge and ended up using her power for evil, Tix gained hers though magic and wants to do what she feels is the right thing with it.
-Her human guise was originally going to be of Japanese ethnicity, but I changed it because I wanted an ethnicity that better matched her natural habitat (a tropical wetland). Besides, Petti is a Elven samurai with a shamisen, that's anime AF as is.
-I had trouble deciding whether to make her human form Venezuelan or Thai. I decided on Venezuelan because I like having Latin characters? (Looking at you, Herrando.)
-Her vulpine design is loosely based on a red fox, and Blaboab's is based off the common toad, AKA the European toad.
