*Applause* Congratulations on not only coming up with this idea, but executing it with such speed, quality, and love. I know that, if my eyes worked, I would be even more in love with Spyro thanks to your efforts.

I'm actually impressed on all that Activision has in its IP / Intellectual Properties.
Many years ago, and I'm sure it was Activision, had a super hard game out on the NES called 'Star Voyager'. I never beat it and figuring the game out was really-really hard. It's certainly a title that I would have loved to say I finished, but I just never could.
Now I am wondering if Activision had a part in another game I played in the 80s. I think it was called 'Road Runner' and tried to create 3D effects as your character just kept running on a checkboard-like area as you jumped and slammed into pillars to get items. That game I beat on its normal and, post-ending, Hard Mode. :)

Actually... It's a bit more complicated than that. Activision are the publishers for the Spyro games from 2008 onwards. But the original trilogy for the PS1 came out in the late 90s. I mean it's their IP now, but not back then.

Basically, the Spyro series can be broken down into 5 pieces (I will mainly be talking about the console games). Also this is like ultra-oversimplified and not really a history lesson.
-You have the Original Trilogy for the PS1 developed by Insomniac Games. (1998 - 2000)
(This is most people will think of when you talk about Spyro, and it is usually considered the best of the games by most people)
-Then there's the two post original trilogy games which have different developers. (2002 - 2004)
(The two games were Enter the Dragonfly which was rushed into production, and overall received negative reviews. and A Hero's Tail which received mixed reviews, the post trilogy games were not received well, but A Hero's Tail introduced the characters of Ember and Flame which a lot of people do reference, despite their really, really tiny role in the story.)
-The Legend of Spyro Trilogy (2005 - 2008)
(okay, this one's a doozy, Spyro got a reboot in the mid 2000s with a darker, and edgier story, and well... people are kinda split on this series, some hated it as it changed up the gameplay from a 3D Platformer to a dumb Beat em' up/hack and slash game, and some didn't like the darker story. On the other hand, these games have quite a following of fans, who love the story and new characters, one of them being Cynder a female dragoness and Spyro's love interest, she got so popular that she made a resurgence in Skylanders! Also Leon totally has a crush on her, if you wanna know more about Cynder, you should ask him.)
-The Skylanders Series, developed by Toys for Bob who also worked on the Reignited Trilogy (2008 - 2017)
(There is a lot to say about Skylanders, but I think this comment is long enough, but I'll say this, it did pretty well and was a return to a more light-hearted, kid-friendly version of Spyro, while taking some gameplay elements from the Legend of Spyro series. I think it's pretty good, but Leon isn't a fan, in fact he HATES Skylanders, but to each their own I guess.)
-And currently, the Reignited Trilogy which is a HD remake of the PS1 era games, but given to more platforms (Including PC!)
(Overall, I think remaking the original trilogy was probably the safest route to go, it gives fans a little nostalgia trip, and introduces the kids of today to classic Spyro. What does the future hold for this series? only time will tell.)

Thanks for sharing all this great information on Spyro. I shall definitely follow-up with Leon about Cinder and his thoughts on all who had their hands in making the games.
Golly-gee did Spyro have a lot of hands on his character and story. It's up there with 'Metroid'. Poor Samus in how, thanks to Team Ninja's making of 'Other M', really got, in my opinion and that of others, dumbed down. :(

Mrs: Now I hope You're ready to help with any other baby that needs a change right?
Spyro: NOPE!
Mrs: Why not?
Spyro: One I beat Nasty g,nork, two I beat Ripto, Three I beat the Enchantress. and Four....we don't talk about those. Point is I've done enough. I'm taking a Break. So far no bad guy needs to be toasted. So That doesn't mean I should be put on Hatchling duty. I already saved their padded behinds from the Enchantress so I no Longer should have to do Anything. Good Day!
*BRIIING BRRIIING*
Spyro: What?
Claus: Table calling
Spyro: Who are you?
Claus: Not important, I'm here to tell you all your eason are moot cause this is the pass. so TIME PARADOX!
*rewinding sound*
Mrs: So will you help with the other hatchlings?
# Ma'am -_-
Mrs: goodie
