Mistakes (Synth Pop)
I love how it throws me off in the beginning with the rhythm change. But what made this feel special is the lyrics hit close to home. Even I sometimes have to wonder if I made mistakes. The mix of the vocals with the sounds chosen feel like they’re purposely picked as if we can’t decide what to use to make the song in general, and we’re scared of making mistakes of picking the wrong instrument. The contrast of some of the sounds are just beautiful to hear. The turnaround in the end just feels right though- how we need to live with the mistakes we make.
