This is a mongolian tea merchant demonstrating his wares - he's a Przewalski's Horse, and his species is the only remaining truly wild horse in the world. He's a very hardy fellow, and very proud of the quality of his tea.

Two of the best books in my collection are a historical set of prints of various historical costumes, produced at the turn of the century (so they are possible a bit inaccurate, given the european view of 'savages') and the National Graphic Portraits book :) They are AWESOME for costumes.
