God of Rivers and Fertility: Sobek [Gods and Monsters]
As the crocodile headed god Sobek brought fertility of their people and crops. As the “Lord of the Waters” he was thought to have risen from the primeval waters of Nun to create the world and made the Nile from his sweat. According to myth, Sobek was considered a fourfold deity who represented the four elemental gods: Ra of fire, Shu of air, Geb of earth, and Osiris of water.
