25 years in this fandom and I finally figure out my character! The picture here is based on a photograph of a real coati --- the second picture at http://thelife-animal.blogspot.com/...../12/coati.html --- and the motto just something I was riffing with someone. The composition is rather like one of Ashleigh Brilliant's Pot-Shots comics but this isn't really fan art of that comic.

I'm surprised how happy I am with how the fur details came out. There's not much to them but I like where they are and what they do.

I'd originally thought to show myself holding some tools or parts or anything at all, really. When I finished with the line art, having any props seemed unnecessary.
