A metallic creak filled the room as the oven door opened with a soft pull. Maneki smiled at the smell hitting her along with the sight of the golden brown turkey sitting in front of her illuminated by the soft glow of the oven heaters. She closed her eyes and breathed in the scent of the dish before a new voice filled the room.

"Fuck! Fuck-Fuck-Fuck! 'Neki! Sly! Help! It's on fire! Ahhhhhhh!" came Luck's voice next to her as she ran around in a panic. Flames licked upward strongly from the pan in her hand fueled by what was going to be a dish served in the next few minutes.

"Beautiful." the calico feline said to herself as ignored her best friend and reached her gloved hands into the oven. She hummed to herself as she pulled the main course of the Thanksgiving dinner out and proceeded to get it ready to serve.

Looks like things are as interesting as always in Sly's household. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, even if we had to do so at a distance from those we love this year. Doing so will make sure that everyone has a better chance at being able to come together in person next year.
