Yeah... The episode sadly left the fandom with 'DDs are evil and intellectually lacking!'. Somehow -.- SOMEHOW.
One episode where they capture a character who trespassed on their land, have her do some manual work, and let her go because she annoyed and outsmarted them. While Changelings literally tried to take over a nation and commit functional genocide but they are perfect and everyone's sweetheart. -.-

Agreed.... they really needed another episode like how they did for Gilda
I still think personally that their should have been a 'split' in the changling hive as I feel that some would still agree or want to follow their Queen Chrysalis, could have had some interesting story beats from that.

Well the DDs are going to have another appearance in the IDW comic's though currently the story is in Zecora's homeland and getting the backstory on that under used character so I'm looking forward to when the comic goes to the DD's country.
If they had a small group of follower's of Queen Chrysalis (A) we could have more changling character's but (B) at least Chrysalia could talk to them and dealing with maybe a more personal dynamic with her minions than what she's use to may 'change' her idea's I'm not asking for a redemption arc..but I don't mind redemption arc's when there done well.....but instead we got her going a little crazy from being separated from the hive, I didn't feel they explored that idea well, like it make sense's she's a creature who's lived her whole life surrounded by subject's and now she's alone, but if your not going to explore that, then what's the point of it being here?

I'll need to look into that. I've had... mixed feelings about DDs from the Comic. Loved the ruins we've seen in a few. Didn't like that storyline with Trixie. But if there is a new one~
Honestly, I like that Chrysalis was unapologetically a bad guy. We need some of those at times. But yeah, giving her a handful of still loyal minions would have been awesome. Sadly, MLP has a lot of potential they didn't explore. Good for fanfic writers at least XD
