Another one of the images I drew in my sketch book along with the Finger Fidgeting Love picture. This one is about one's second thought about being intimate with another. Somewhat, this is more of a "furry" problem than a human problem.
Everyone knows that the female always gives off this scent that attracts males or mates, a small sign that the female is willing to mate. She would lift her tail and present herself to the nearest ( and maybe desperate ) male, drawing him closer until mountable distance.
What if this happened when a furry is in bed with another, but she has second thoughts about it? She is in heat, but she doesn't want to mate because she might feel wrong about it, maybe shy, depressed or has second thoughts? She lowers her tail and pins it down, hiding herself from the one next to her. She ponders, thinks about what will happen if she lifts her tail. Is she embarrassed? Scared? Frustrated? Hiding a secret she doesn't want to show anyone? Does she change her mind, leaving the other unsatisfied?
I guess the point that I am getting at with this picture, is that one has to be honestly sure who they want to make love to them. They must feel comfortable with the person next to them; they must trust them to a high degree in order to see each other naked. Seeing someone naked has to be earned by trust, not lust. It’s like leaving yourself vulnerable to the other's eyes. They study your physical being, even cress and touch it. It's physical love, but it cannot work without mental love. Without it, feelings and hearts will get hurt.
My head hurts a little. I had a good explanation to go with this, but I can not get the words out right. talking about physical relationships is hard and sometimes, very confusing because people have different views about it that someone else might not agree on.

Beautiful art, and beautiful message too. <3
Personally, I'd like to think that males would have the common sense and courtesy not to just jump a female, and that true couples can sincerely communicate between one another. Just some idealized thinking...
all in all Alex, i think you've got the nail right about on the head. maybe thats why i've always admired ya, you're a romantic at heart, or somethin, heh ^_^
She wolves fighting off the advances of the lower ranking males.
To weasels, that are so not into being mounted the males have to hold them down an rape them to mate.. an the female could die if she doesn't mate.!
Does bring up an interesting question, when uplifted to sentience, would they still be controlled by centuries old pharamone urges like feral beasts, or could they fight off the instinctive urge to mate at natures call?
So many people seem to have no clue what I'm trying to say when I attempt to speak of something like this... Either that or they dismiss it as a given; maybe they understand. Or maybe they're just too uncomfortable to talk about it. But seeing you attempting to say the same thing and even express it in art... I feel not so... out of place anymore.
ugh, now my words are running thin ;_; I'm sorry I can't put my understanding clear enough. Maybe it's just something that isn't meant to be said.
But don't let anyone ever tell you you're wrong. You have it perfectly.
From what I see from that drawing is that the male is sure gonna be disapointed after being lured in in the first place.
In that situation it would end up into a conversation about it and what not, or atleast I would in that guys shoes.
Very nice drawing, with a very nice pose and uh, good use of tail? xD
"What am I supposed to do with this?! I will beat yo brains out with this! What *whip* do you mean *whip*!?!"
