So in the alternate Universe that I have established there exists these mirrors tucked away in far off corners of the world. These mirrors look perfectly normal to most Pokémon but Borealis isn't a normal Pokémon, he was once human and when he looks into the portal he sees an Ampharos but the same markings and such as him, so curious he touches the mirror and gets pulled in by some force and it happens so fast that when he is picking himself off the ground he looks back to see a Dragonite in the mirror, himself... and now he IS the Ampharos that he saw in the mirror. Little did Borealis know that om that day he discovered the mirror dimension. and to his shock he sees the Dragonite on the other side get up and walk away despite him looking into the mirror now as solid as ever.
