God of the Dead: Anubis [Gods and Monsters]
The God and Monster series is in full swing once again. With that had to remake my older drawing of the Jackal headed God of the Dead.
Anubis is a jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology. He is the earliest god depicted on tomb walls and invoked for protection of the dead and is usually shown tending to the corpse of the king, presiding over mummification and funerals, or standing with Osiris, Thoth, or other gods at the Weighing of the Heart of the Soul in the Hall of Truth in the afterlife
If you would like to see god, monster, or mythological figure be added to this series just comment below.
