Much of the youngest of the Vladmiss brothers' early life was spent training with his mother in Ferrenvale, their home town. Floating above the thought-to-be uninhabitable crust of their world, this was a truly wondrous place to spend one's childhood. Though combat training was long and exhausting, pure energy seemed to emanate from the grass below Valkiro's feet, every step rejuvenating. Even the boredom of diplomatic scenarios was dulled by the mere sight of castles and towers floating gently around the perimeter of the town's borders. Work was play here, and life seemed forever blissful.
