Concept Art for the Switched Roles AU:

Sonny Conductor, is 26 years old and he's a Researcher, Time Tunnel Specialist and a Part-Time Explorer. (He's also a Borderline Conspiracy Theorist). Even though his life dream was to become a Train Conductor just like his Mother, he didn't take the final exams at Dinosaur Train Conductor School due to sudden illness, but instead of retaking the course, he went to become a Time Tunnel Specialist, he also followed in his father's footsteps and became a part-time explorer. He researches locations for the Government of Laramidia in Environmental stuff. His goal in Life is to at the very least find out the entire truth about what happened that fateful day 23 years ago and find out if his mother is still alive, maybe even find the Original Dinosaur Train while he's at it.

In this AU, Sonny and Erma don't have a relationship because they've never met, but he's extremely close to Thurston (A little more than Best Friends though). He does have a strained relationship with Gilbert though because his sister Sarah (Gilbert's Mother) doesn't want Sonny's 'craziness' to rub off on Gilbert. The only reason they have a relationship is because of Trevor and Thurston. He's close to his Father, Trevor Troodon and still lives with his Dad (He knows as long as he pulls his weight, and pays rent, he's welcome to stay there), Sonny barely knows The Pteranodon Family but Mrs. Pteranodon, Tiny, Buddy and Sonny seem to be close friends already. His blue vest was a gift from his Aunt Sue (one of his Maternal Aunts).
