Years ago, I made a pokemon based art challenge. It was never an official thing, but it was one I tried to follow, just the same.
The first prompt in the challenge was 'Normal.' Believe it or not, one of my favorite normal types is none other than Raticate, the evolved form of that one pokemon that is as common as dirt. I'm very fond of the creature; its Hyper Fang move is INCREDIBLY powerful, in all generations. But also, I've had pet rats before. They are ADORABLE, WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY creatures, and I have no doubt that, in the world of Pokemon, that goes for these underrated creatures.
Plus, they've been able to learn weird machine moves from the very first generation. From the start, they have been capable of learning the move Blizzard. TELL ME THAT'S NOT AWESOME. JUST TRY.
This was done with alcohol-based markers and edited with...Clip Studio Paint, I think? I apologize, it's been a while since I scanned this.
