Summary:
We all know what happed to Trevor Troodon and the events that lead to him being separated with his family,
but what would've happened if the roles were switched between himself and his wife, Mrs. Conductor.
Prologue Part 1:
Mr. Conductor's Perspective:
Back when Mr. Conductor or 'Sonny' was only 3 years old. All that he could remember that day was that both of his parents were on edge, and for a very good reason.
His father, Trevor Troodon held his eldest son tightly because Sonny couldn't stop crying for some reason, and he was disturbing his siblings' naptime.
"You can't go Tabs! We know that ... it will happen some time this year, We can't allow what happened to our families generations ago
happen to us!" Trevor said, his voice was trembling. "You know as well as I that we can't just skip work because of some justified paranoia," Mrs. Conductor,
or 'Tabitha' said in a calm voice. But Sonny could tell that his mother was just as nervous as his father.
Tabitha gently placed her hand on Trevor's "Remember, The Dinosaur Train is only doing emergency runs this year, This is one of those runs,"
Tabitha said. "Unfortunately, it's at Cretaceous Meadows," she added. The colour faded from Trevor's face quickly "That's the closest time period
to the end," Trevor said solemnly, His Steel Blue eyes were filled with fear and worry. Tabitha smiled sweetly yet almost sadly, as she gently caressed
her husband's cheek "I know... But I promise that I'll do my best to stay safe," she said softly. Tears developed in his eyes as he held her hand
in a firm grip. He looked up at her as he almost gave in "Please keep that promise my dear... and come home in one piece," He said. She smiled sadly
"No guarantees on the second one... I have to go now..." She said. She looked at Sonny warmly as she gently caressed his cheek wiping the tears from his face
"Behave for your Father Sonny, If something were to happen to me... Just know that I love you and your siblings very, very much," She said, gently kissing his forehead.
She went to the door, she looked back at her husband and eldest son, she smiled warmly as she said "Goodbye, I love all of you," she closed the door
behind her. That was the very last time Sonny saw his Mother, The last words she said to her family hours before... the incident...
