Grunt - a tank bred. An alien among his own people, who looked at him with distaste and bewilderment when he first arrived with Jane Shepard to the Krogan's home planet. Wrex didn't expect much from him; based on age alone, he was basically an infant. A child with no knowledge of the galaxy that laid before him except for what his instincts willed.
This changed of course. He rose among the ranks, becoming extremely respected for his combat prowess and his willingness to do all that it would take to strike the foe down. He has earned fair share of scars during the coming centuries. (And more attention from the women due to this.) And in turn, has earned his place in this system.
