Thanks a bunch to  Crescent-Blue-Zero and an anonymous friend for making this character's existence in X²Y possible.

Hideo is the husband of X²Y's vice president Kazumi and, by extension, a surrogate brother-in-law to Xavvy. He generally has a polite and easy-going demeanour with a drive to work hard at anything of great importance to himself and his future family. Unfortunately, he finds working as hard as he insists upon to be so stressful that he's quick to switch over to his mischievous, fun-loving and indulgent side and end up wasting valuable time in the process (especially if sake is involved).

Beyond that, though, he's a loving spouse to the kitsune vice-prez and tries his best to give Xavvy important business advice... and then encourage the boss cat to partake in some fun-and-games.
