Costume Quest: A Diaper, A Shirt, No Problem (Az)! (Rugra...
So the Halloweeny season is here once again! Well...kind of...things down on Earth there are kind of....yeaaaaahhh. But that doesn't mean we can't try to celebrate the occassion as best we can!
Me and Az are a bit exhausted, but we're trying. We usually try to do big things for the holiday, but over the past few years, it's been rather overwhelming. So I tried to get some ideas myself to squeeze out some simple stuff...but that's kind of thin with stuff being weird down there and all...
As I browsed the library of media, I came across free previews of the Nickelodeon channel....or...should I say...the Spongebob Channel...seriously, that sponge has absorbed nearly EVERYTHING there! Honestly haven't watched the show personally in...years or so...wonder what it's like now....
Still, though, when I was stuck in those lockdown sections of the ship back before Az sprung me...I saw the network in it's glory days of it's initial animated lineup! Doug! Ren and Stimpy! And, of course, Rugrats! I find it kind of weird that I gravitated more toward the last than the other two...maybe because Doug was a bit vanilla and Ren and Stimpy was...very very weird. Maybe it's also because my best bud's in a diaper himself, and the main character reminded me a bit of him hehehe.
Well, anyway, I liked the morals of the show and how imaginative it was. And getting onto that track, it gave me costume ideas! Az said he wanted something simple so he didn't have to work so hard...guy works hard enough...and I was like 'hey! that's super simple! He's got half the costume already!'....granted, I'm not much of a shirt wearer myself, and baggy shorts are far from my fortay, but I was willing to pair up with Az on this!
Sure, at first, Az didn't know about the show...and I was worried about feeling a sharp pain or metal barrel at the back of my head when I told him....but after I told him I was reminded of him with how brave and leader-forward the main character was, he softened up a bit...phew.

Az said somebody would say that....and I couldn't argue him on it. But, no, just the shorts heh heh. Though honestly, those things were baggy, wonder why people wear those things. Az was probably more comfortable than I was at the the time ta ha!

Well Az IS the leader up here, and he is pretty brave too! So he's got that going for him by comparison heh heh.
Eh, I wouldn't put myself to quite the scaredy cat levels of ole' Chuck...but then again, him getting over his fears of things is kind of an inspiration to me for my...ahem...own personal things.
