Flo's space suit, the Astrogeology and Ecology Research Suit is a modified military combat suit, now adapted primarily to exploring, surveying and collecting samples of extraterrestrial flora, fauna and geology. The amber visor aids visibility in dark and dusty environments, such as desert caves.
It was inspired by both Samus Aran's Varia Suit and Doomguy's Praetor Suit.
