Personality: Bubbly and friendly to those who he has grown close with, but otherwise shy and timid at other times. Among his friends, he is the first to try and defuse an argument or tense situation, often playing the peacemaker. But that's usually hampered by his interactions with strangers, his shy and meek side making him submissive and apologetic towards someone who is stronger or has some advantage on him. though he has gotten a confidence boost from obtaining superpowers and takes on gentlemanly mannerisms as Luminary.

Abilities: Flight, super strength and durability with a dash of speed, in addition to manipulating metal, using it to power his strikes, or animate it into sentient forms that follow his command. The effects vary depending on the metal used. He can also animate other things, but only metal animated beings can provide any support of combat support.

Background: Tobias lived a standard life, sticking with a group of friends he met from elementary school all the way to graduating college alongside that group, and despite his family being rather poor, he continued to prove himself an exceptional bookworm and hard worker, the definition of a focused and determined student of life. But that's usually hampered by his interactions with strangers, and he often lets anyone who speaks louder or is physically superior have the last word or their way from fear of backlash. Due to this, he had often been the target of bullies, but his connection to his friends ended up helping him withstand it and also proved immensely lucky for his family in the future. Especially so through Douglas McOlsen, the unanimous and undisputed leader of the friend group. The McOlsens, being a particularly influential and wealthy business owners, ended up assisting the Riveras after Douglas brought up the matter of the financial situation that his friend's family faced to his own parents.

Since then, Tobias has held huge respect and admiration for Douglas, looking up to him and wishing to follow his example one day, to help others out as he had so kindly made it so that he and his family received necessary aid. Little did he know that he would be given the chance to do just that.

Following a certain incident that left a notable percentage of the population with superpowers, Tobias was among that percentage as he found himself able to fly, manipulate metal, and animate various objects. Utterly astounded by the powers he suddenly possessed, he started learning in secret how to control them while also excited at the prospect of becoming a superhero, throwing a good bit of effort into working up his superhero alias and asking Douglas for a loan towards a secret project, to which he was gifted the full amount and then some. Absolutely grateful, Tobias went on to create the costume and persona of Luminary, the Luminous Stag! And though he has no real idea what he's doing, he is putting forward his best effort to live up to the responsibility of his powers and the title of superhero!

Weaknesses: Luminary is a pacifistic superhero, only resorting to fighting if the other person cannot be reasoned with or is in a position that threatens to harm innocent people. He also refuses to let anyone innocent be hurt or caught in the middle of a situation, and this often gets him to trade places with them, becoming a captive of the villain in question. He can also feel fairly threatened by his fear is the other is extremely forceful or dominate, becoming submissive as a result.
