Hmm...! I do like the hyperspace idea, but kinda figure, with the way the cockpit is oriented, the focal point for the lines should probably be down and to the left? I'm not sure how possible it is to actually portray that, though.. don't think I've ever seen this angle done before! Usually it's just straight-on, looking forward...
Although, another thought? Since they're looking rather serious, perhaps they're in the middle of a dogfight? Could have just some sort of starfield in the background, maybe with a couple green blaster shots going past ( a TIE Fighter shooting at them, trying to take them head on)? ^^;;
