went to poke the lines for fun before some owed work and oops the whole thing is done now. funny how that happens ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿
longest taking ref I've done in a whiiileeeee, since I put effort into slowing down my lines again and making them neater as I used to, and some other little different style things than usual including making an exception to my "NO SHADED REFS" rule on the leftmost one cause I felt it deserved some light shading touches :3c
took somewhere over six hours rather than the 3-ish I'd been gettin used to and I'm pleasedd~
and feel like my inspirations are pretty obvious in this one haha


anyway he's another future DnD characterrrr! he's also canon to my own world, so I'll try to describe the differences between both versions:

• in DnD land he's an arcane trickster kitsune who can shift between feral and humanoid form, is playful, mischievous, happy-go-lucky, and loves flirting with all kinds of people for fun but unlike my world's canon he usually backpedals and flees if they ever try to take it further :'D
he's probably from the feywild and grew up there, but eventually found a portal or some other way to the material plane and is hanging around out of curiosity and the desire to always seek new fun adventures~

• in my own world, he's still a gifted magic user and uses it for his career as some sort of performer, but is a fox-like werewolf rather than a kitsune (which is probably still slang for his ethnic group of east asian werewoofs, just not inherently magical). in this canon he's not horny-repulsed lol, so he does hook up with raziel at some point because of course he does, and he might eventually get with zack's sister when he's older and make little fox/wolf-ish hybrids (which is fully possible because all werewolves are the same species, regardless of appearance, just like all mermaids and all cervitaurs), but... we'll seeee

• in the forgotten realms he changes his surname basically every time you ask depending on what he feels like that day - swiftpaw, smoketail, windrun, akabi, kumiho are all options he's said before - but in my world it's just "itazura" xD

• the man definitely has a very successful tiktok, onlyfans, and instagram selfie page. I just feel it

• he's vague "young adult" in kitsune years, but is probably 19-20 on earth, which surprises raz when he finds out, being like 28 at that point, but kai assures him "it's fine I'm an adult, am the one who instigated this, and older men are hot B)" lol
