Dr. X (Sex! Sex! Sex! Sex!) will build a creature~
Though the Corduroys love to dress up in different ways, especially if it’s sexy; they have a high affinity for cosplay. As Halloween approaches, Charo thought she’d dress up as a character from one her favorite musicals, the Rocky Horror Show. Particularly, an obscured character who opened and closed the show in the stage play. Not Magenta, not Columbia... nope, a little lady known as the Usherette.
Not only that, but she’d always perform the opening song, “Science Fiction, Double Feature” the entire month of October. In fact, many in the club would perform numbers from Rocky Horror. During these performances, she’d always remember the one phrase that everyone at the club goes by:
“Don’t dream it, Be it”
Charo belongs to me.
The Usherette and Rocky Horror are the property of Richard O’Brien.

Riff Along starts here:
“Lips...lips...lips...“
(A long long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away,
God said: 'Let there be lips,' and there were.
And they were good. and the lips said 'thank you'. Sing!)
Michael Rennie was ill
The day the earth stood still
But he told us where we stand~
(On our feet!)

The 'double feature' reference is a bit obscure in this day and age. It meant a movie showing that had two films (Usually one new and one either a classic or a slightly out of date, or a B-grade movie), along with a news reel, and one or two cartoon shorts. Later, as radio and then television became the main source of news, the news reel was dropped. This meant parents could drop their kids off on the weekends, and they would be entertained for several hours. And movie theaters were the first public buildings with air conditioning. On halloween, there was a matinee with two spooky (That is, low budget films with lots of cleavage) movies. One of the theaters in my home town even arranged to have an ambulance parked outside, implying that people might faint seeing the film. By the mid 1960s, this was totally out of fashion.
