Working on commissions today, so nothing new to share, but I HAD to sketch this hilarious thing from my dream!
In the dream I was at some kind of art school where the students were doing super pretentious video art installations (you know the kind) and then afterwards they were like "Yo you guys haven't seen this movie?! It's actually super good man" and it was a Pokemon movie 😆 and it had this alternate-typhlosion in it.
I remember thinking, man, the new Pokemon designs are so pandering!! Hahaha
It was normal typhlosion colors, but had glowing golden dreadlocks tipped in black (like lava) and had them tied up top with patterned bands where a little glowing fox made of fire sat and blew fire from it's mouth to attack.
I might have to adapt this concept into a painting.
