Todd isn't the least bit surprised--he knows what those shoes are in for. Ignore the URL at the bottom of the page. Tina was alluding to the existence of platform-soled shoes/boots for men that can be found online. I kinda doubt Todd would find any of them to his liking though (they're all heavily goth/punk-inspired), even if they would allow him to follow his girlfriend through the muck and come out of it with clean/dry feet.
This will be the last of the black-and-white comics for some time, (unless I figure out how to crank out greyscale comics at high speed). Following a short email exchange with another artist who posts color comics (Zooni), I decided that doing color wasn't going to take appreciably longer than greyscale, and so I continued events here in full color. It only becomes a hindrance when complex backdrops get involved. :)
The next few pages are the first "Mudwalk" series that's already posted here. They are part of the continuity of the comic, so they will be linked in sequence with the comic, although they aren't numbered as part of it, since the comic was supposed to occasionally reference standalone pics (or image sequences) in my galleries. Installment 49 will pick up right after the mudwalk and continue on from there. For this reason, I'm providing a link to permit viewers to skip the mudwalk pics if they've already seen them.
